The course will meet for four modules on 28 Wednesdays from September 2010 to June 2011. These meetings will begin at 5 pm with a break from 7.15 to 7.45 pm. Meetings will end at 8.45 pm. Some meetings, until the interval, will be devoted entirely to teaching input of theory, some will be devoted entirely to skills training, and some will divide the time between the two. Every meeting, after the interval, will end with a session of experiential learning groups. Theory input will be linked to the practice of skills, while the experiential group will give trainees a contained setting to explore what they have learned in the day's work, their response to this and to the course as a whole, and practical implications.
In each module there will be one full Saturday from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. (see Dates of Meetings for further details)
